FAQ
Questions, answered.
The things people actually ask before and after downloading Brawler, with no marketing spin, just straight answers.
- How does the video analysis actually work?
- Record a round on your phone: shadowboxing, bag work, mitts, or sparring, then upload it. Brawler reads the full clip across seven technique checkpoints (stance, guard, footwork, punch selection, combinations, head movement, range) and returns a specific correction plus a drill for each one.
- Do I need any equipment to use Brawler?
- No heavy equipment required. You can start with just your phone. Wraps, gloves, or a bag help, but nothing is necessary to begin. Coaching and video analysis both work off phone footage alone.
- Can I switch or change my training plan?
- Yes. Programs adjust to your schedule and goals rather than locking you into a fixed track, and you can switch to a different program from within the app whenever your training needs change.
- What's free and what requires a subscription?
- Brawler is free to download. A subscription unlocks the full feature set: the AI coach, video analysis, training programs, and tracking tools. See the pricing page for current plans and rates.
- Is Brawler available on Android?
- Not yet. Brawler currently runs on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Silicon Macs.
- Does Brawler replace a real coach?
- No. Brawler is built for the days you're training on your own. It catches patterns in your footage and gives corrections, but it can't put hands on you or read a live sparring session the way an in-person coach can. If you have access to a coach, use both.
