Fighter Nutrition

Fuel like a fighter.

Most nutrition apps were built for people trying to lose weight sitting still. This one is built around the fact that you're training hard four to six days a week and have a number to make.

Three ways to log a meal.

The best tracking method is the one you'll still be doing in week six. Pick whichever is fastest in the moment.

Point the camera at the plate. Useful for home-cooked food and anything that doesn't come with a label — which is most of what a fighter eats.

Barcode

Scan the package. Fastest option for packaged food, supplements, and anything you buy the same way every week.

Voice

Say what you ate. The fastest of the three when your hands are wrapped or you're logging on the way out of the gym.

How the targets are built.

01

Targets move with your training

A heavy sparring day and a rest day are not the same nutritional problem. Your targets shift with the session load in your program rather than sitting at one flat number all week.

02

Protein first, then carbohydrate timing

Total protein protects muscle while you're in a deficit. Carbohydrate placement — front-loaded around training rather than spread evenly — is what keeps the intensity up in the rounds that matter.

03

Hydration is tracked, not assumed

Fighters lose more fluid than almost any other athlete and most are chronically under-hydrated by the time they weigh in. Hydration is logged alongside food, not treated as an afterthought.

04

Micros matter more when you're cutting

The deeper the deficit, the easier it is to fall short on iron, magnesium, and sodium. Tracking micros isn't obsessive when you're eating less than usual — it's what keeps you training.

A note on weight cutting.

Tracking food and cutting weight are related but not the same thing. If you're inside fight week and trying to make a number, the day-by-day approach matters more than the daily macro split. Aggressive cuts carry real risk — if you're unsure, talk to a coach or a sports dietitian rather than improvising.
