Best AI boxing apps:
three, compared honestly.

We make one of these, so read this with that in mind. What follows is every figure taken straight from the public App Store listings, plus a plain statement of where each competitor beats us. You can check all of it in about five minutes.

The short answer

  • Box only, nothing else: Brawler. Boxing is the entire product, and it holds the highest rating of the three.
  • Cross-train, or need Android: JAB AI. Ten martial arts, and the only one of the three on Android today.
  • Want live coaching and competition: Boxer AI. AR pad work and 1v1 matches against other users.

Where each one actually wins.

Boxer AI

Better at: Live camera coaching and AR pad work, plus head-to-head matches against other users. Its listing reports no data collection at all, which is the strongest privacy posture in the category.

Trade-off: Its last update was in August. The same developer also ships Wrestler AI, Golfer AI, Hooper AI and a makeup app from one template, so boxing isn't the whole company. Six unlabelled in-app purchase tiers make the real price hard to work out before you sign up.

JAB AI

Better at: Breadth and availability. It covers ten martial arts, runs on Android as well as iPhone, iPad, Mac and Vision, and ships in five languages. It has been in the store longest of the three and updates frequently. If you cross-train, it is the obvious pick.

Trade-off: Boxing is one of ten disciplines rather than the whole product. Its App Store privacy label states it uses purchases, location, identifiers and usage data to track you across other companies' apps and websites for third-party advertising. Nine separate subscription tiers make the price hard to pin down.

Brawler

Better at: Boxing depth, and the highest rating of the three. Boxing is the only thing it does, which means the programs, the analysis checkpoints and the coach are all built around one sport rather than shared across ten.

Trade-off: iPhone and iPad only today. Android is in development, not shipped. If you train several martial arts, you will end up wanting a second app.

Questions

What is the best AI boxing app?
It depends on what you train. If you box and nothing else, Brawler is built for that and currently holds the highest rating of the three at 4.8. If you cross-train across martial arts or need Android today, JAB AI covers ten disciplines and ships on more platforms. If you want live camera coaching and head-to-head matches against other users, Boxer AI does that and has the largest rating count.
Is there an AI boxing app for Android?
JAB AI is the only one of these three currently on Android. Boxer AI is iPhone only. Brawler is on iPhone and iPad today with Android in development — no release date has been announced.
Do AI boxing apps actually work?
They work for catching repeated, visible technique faults — a dropped guard, crossed feet, a static head. They are much weaker on anything requiring context, such as whether a punch was the right choice against a particular opponent. No app in this category publishes independent accuracy testing, so treat scores as directional rather than precise.
Which is cheapest?
Hard to compare directly, because the apps use different billing structures. Brawler lists two plans, monthly and annual. Boxer AI lists six unlabelled tiers between $8.99 and $34.99. JAB AI lists nine, spanning weekly, monthly and yearly. Check the current listing before subscribing to any of them.
